About The Position

Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Dallas, TX. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework. You will test and repair various electronic products and mechanical assemblies, working from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches. You will provide routine technical support to engineers and scientists on standard components, devices, material, products, processes, and/or equipment. Your responsibilities will also include testing, modifying, reworking, repairing, and building electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies, as well as ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Clean Room experience.
  • Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
  • Experience with handling small delicate components.
  • Experience with bonding and soldering small components.
  • Experience handling safe chemicals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework.
  • Test and repair various electronic products and mechanical assemblies.
  • Work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches.
  • Provide routine technical support to engineers and scientists.
  • Test, modify, rework, repair, and build electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies.
  • Design and/or test prototype assemblies and production units.
  • Interpret and follow documents such as SOPs and safety rules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Interface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materials.
  • Meet production deadlines.
  • Check quality of finished product (pass/fail rates).
  • Coordinate several activities at the same time and reprioritize in response to changing operational conditions.
  • Read and possibly develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications.

Benefits

  • Pay: $22.00/hr + 15% differential.
  • Shift: 3rd Schedule: Monday-Friday 10pm-7:30am (every other Friday off).
  • Training: Must be able to train on 1st shift- 6am to 3:30pm (3-4 months).
  • Length: Temp to Direct.
