Prepares finished product, packing kits and trays into cartons for shipment to sterilization, distribution centers, and customers. Assists Manufacturing Teammate 3(MTM3) with line operations, serving as backup for M T M 3 as required.

Requirements

  • Internal Candidates: 1 or more years of MTM1 experience; 2 or more years preferred
  • Must have completed and met minimum evaluation requirements of the MTM2 JSK Training Program
  • Must be in good standing with attendance and performance, with minimum of informal feedback review of “Meets Expectations”
  • External Candidates: 2-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3-5 years experience working in a fast-paced packaging environment
  • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Or an equivalent combination of education , training or experience
  • Candidate should demonstrate a proficiency in a previous packaging position

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership experience preferred (example: Line Leader, Value Stream Leader)

Responsibilities

  • Properly loads and packages products on the machines as assigned, assisting Packaging Operators on line as needed.
  • Accurately completes hour by hour charts and confirmations in SAP, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO policies.
  • Assists MTM3 to train new teammates and ensure production efficiency standards are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Runs the line when MTM3 is out, or as business needs require.
  • Reports any and all safety issues.
  • Ensures assigned line's safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies.
  • Demonstrates daily 55 standards and monitors and trains assigned line on 55 policies in accordance with SOPs, GMPs, and ISO policies.
  • Utilizes quality testing equipment to perform quality tests.
  • Ensures quality tests are on schedule per line specific SOP, and verifies accuracy on all quality tests and checks required.
  • Uses ETQ software to access SOPs to ensure adherence.
  • Helps organize and plan work flow by assisting with line clearance, changeovers, and facilitating line rotations as needed.
