In this role, you will be responsible for adhering to our GB Core Beliefs and the Behavioral Based Safety process, as well as the Greatbatch Associate Quality Policy. You will set up the necessary equipment for assembly and inspection according to Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI's) and Quality Work Instructions (QWI's). Understanding your tasks and their relation to team dynamics is crucial, as you will work under moderate supervision with clearly defined duties, following Standard Work where applicable. You will be involved in the overall production flow within your department, assembling component parts as per print specifications while utilizing both manual and automatic machine operations. Quality assurance is a key aspect of your responsibilities; you will visually and dimensionally inspect parts and completed assemblies for conformance to specifications, identifying and escalating any quality non-conformances. Additionally, you will complete required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Your role may also include packaging assemblies for shipping and participating in team activities that focus on process and product improvement, problem resolution, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment is essential, and you will comply with all relevant procedures, rules, and regulations. You will have opportunities to expand your skill set through on-the-job training, cross-training, and classroom instruction, and you may be required to perform other functions as needed.
