About The Position

Will be working with the Team to ensure that the Core product is moving through the designated milestones, ensuring that the operators are safe, and remain focused on their daily work lists, and that engineering, quality, safety or management help is provided when issues arise. As the first point of contact for the operators, the Team Lead will help solve problems and keep parts moving assuring that the team can accomplish its goals.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
Interest in Manufacturing.
Able to perform basic math functions using the metric system and read Engineering instructions and previous experience as a Team Lead is preferred.
This position may require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

Performing work safely by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to make the Core Department a safe work environment, partnering with the Core department supervisor to create a daily plan to meet Production targets.
Creating and assigning work lists for each employee in the department, ensuring that employees remain productive, and produce quality work while performing direct production work 50% of the time.
Other duties may be assigned as needed and cross training as needed.
