Our facility in Huntsville is producing Hi-Nicalon TypeS SiC Fiber as well as SiC pre-preg tape in an advanced technology, LEAN manufacturing environment. This role will work the first shift with the hours of 430a-430p.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.
• Spend 75% of time on the shop floor, demonstrating strong team coaching ability and follow up.
• Familiarity with managing and communicating through lean production systems.
• Use and teach basic problem solving tools such as 5Why and Fishbone.
• Collaborate with key functions like EHS and quality.
• Broaden knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy.
• Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
• Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE.
