Keep a High-Output Packaging Plant Running Strong Quick Facts Company: Novolex — a leader in food, beverage, and specialty packaging for foodservice, delivery/carryout, processing, retail/grocery, and industrial markets Expertise: Resin, paper, molded fiber, aluminum, and more Scale: 120 product categories | 250 brands | 39,000+ SKUs Shift: Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00 pm–7:00 am Text to Apply: 928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX) Role Snapshot Troubleshoot and maintain plant electrical infrastructure (120/277/480 VAC, 3‑phase). Work with PLCs (Allen Bradley) and RSLogix to diagnose, modify, and improve controls. Install, tune, and repair VFDs, DC drives, and servo systems. Support process instrumentation: 4–20 mA loops, analog signals, and position feedback. Maintain temperature control systems and associated components. Service hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and integrate with controls.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Certification, or 3+ years as an industrial electrician with mechanical experience (manufacturing preferred).
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder/sequential logic, and mechanical drawings.
  • Competence using a digital multimeter and methodical troubleshooting skills.
  • Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and strong LOTO discipline.
  • Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Edge) and Adobe proficiency; AX familiarity is a plus.
  • Math and measurement accuracy—tape measure and caliper use required.
  • Strong multitasking, organization, communication, and follow‑through.
  • Self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced environments with limited supervision; dependable attendance.
  • Team‑oriented and safety‑focused; reports unsafe conditions.
  • Own basic SAE and metric hand tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Extrusion systems experience.
  • Vacuum and resin control systems exposure.
  • Flexographic printing (printer/flexo) background.
  • Bag conversion equipment familiarity.
  • 5S experience and foundational Lean knowledge.
