  • Develop, install, configure, and support legacy and future manufacturing systems, including RTLS, RFID, AMR robot fleet, MES, CDM, InfinityQS SPC, STAS & ID, custom vision inspection systems, and supervisory control systems.
  • Develop and implement guidelines for troubleshooting systems operating 24/7.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to establish robust support mechanisms.
  • Formulate requirements for fresh systems or adjustments to current ones, covering the creation and upkeep of interfaces.
  • Support all relevant activities such as testing, GMP validation, and training document generation.
  • Coordinate with external vendor resources when required to ensure project success.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering required.
  • Sophisticated experience (5-10 years) with manufacturing systems in the food processing, pharmaceutical, or a closely related industry.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: VB, C#, C/C++, Python.
  • Familiarity with control systems development platforms like PLC/HMI/SCADA; experience with Siemens and GE iFix platforms is helpful.
  • Familiarity with, and practical application of operations support systems, such as MES warehouse management systems, etc.
  • Expertise in SQL queries, SQL databases such as MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and data modeling.
  • Experience with importing data for use in reporting software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts.
  • ELT (Extract Transform Load) experience.
  • Experience in programming REST / gRPC interfaces.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Suite of applications required.
  • Understanding GAMP 5 and cGMP practices is a plus.
  • Understanding of networking technology (firewalls, switches, security requirements).
  • Limited travel may be required <10%.
