About The Position

Zehnder Rittling - A Trusted Name In Hydronic and Radiant Heating Since 1946 located in Western New York at 100 Rittling Blvd., Buffalo, NY 14220 Manufacturing opportunities for dependable employees with reliable transportation and consistent attendance: 40 hours per week Production / Factory Four 10-hour Shifts 5:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday, overtime - if needed 10 hours on Friday and/or 6 hours on Saturday morning Temp to Hire Positions Seasonal Positions Position Summary: Responsible for performing a variety of basic manufacturing operations to support production needs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to lift approx. 50 lbs.
Specific vision requirements of this position include close vision.
Must regularly be able to use hands to handle, feel, talk, hear.
Must regularly stand throughout workday and be able to stand and walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift.
Must be dependable and have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Prior vocational/trade school background preferred.
Highly motivated with ability to learn basic production operations quickly
Experience with small hand tools, power and manual, preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists loading/unloading paint line.
Assists with packaging of product.
Assists with assembly of product including fin tube, storage cabinets, cabinet unit heaters, brackets
Assists with various maintenance related activities including janitorial functions and cleaning of paint line equipment
Works in a safe manner, utilizing all required personal protective equipment.
Assists in all other areas of cell.
Maintains flexibility to transfer to other cells to assist when needed.
Works as part of the team and continuously seeks to identify and eliminate non-value added processes and waste.
