Join our new team of Manufacturing Supplier Quality Engineers, in McKinney, TX, solving supplied material issues impacting our factories. This high visibility and on-site position will focus on resolution of any nonconformance in supplied material ensuring root cause and corrective actions are completed. You will be a key player working with leaders in Operations, Quality, Program Management and Engineering to solve problems on our nations most advanced defense systems.

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering or related technical discipline
Experience using Aerospace or commercial equivalent Preventative tools – APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, etc.
Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes
Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
Six Sigma, Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.)
Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test and delivery
High computer proficiency, including skills working with SAP/ PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Responsibilities

Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier caused issues impacting the factory, working with other quality functions and cross-functional teams.
Represent supplier quality as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier, corrective action board, FRACAS (Failure Review And Corrective Action System), and cost of poor-quality meetings.
Analyze supplied material non-conformance data and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring robust root-cause analysis and corrective solutions are fully implemented
Identify and support continuous product / process improvements using statistical / analytical tools such as APQP and lean manufacturing methodologies
Drive continuous improvement and leverage lessons learned from supplied material non-conformances to reduce future risk across the supply chain
