About The Position

The Manufacturing Supervisor at Schneider Electric is responsible for driving operational excellence within the manufacturing environment in Lexington, KY. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required; equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Prior experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the successful attainment of production schedules while maintaining focus on cost efficiency, quality standards, and lead time targets.
• Organize and address the training needs of teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the enhancement of industrial processes.
• Take ownership of people management, including goal setting, competency development, recognition and engagement, daily time-keeping, performance, and disciplinary management.
• Cultivate a safety-first attitude among all employees, promoting a secure and compliant work environment.
• Assume responsibility for the achievement of group performance goals and objectives.
