About The Position

The Manufacturing Supervisor at Clarios is responsible for overseeing production activities, ensuring staffing levels are adequate, maintaining employee relations, and upholding a safe and clean work environment. This role involves planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to meet management goals and production requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Minimum 1+ year managing employees in a manufacturing setting required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Lead Acid battery experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience applying Lean manufacturing, 5S, utilizing Six Sigma is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Train production personnel to perform work assignments safely and efficiently.
• Requisition operating personnel to meet established goals.
• Maintain accurate database information regarding employee training and certification.
• Administer production salary/wage policy for operating personnel properly.
• Enforce health, environmental, and safety standards, work practices, and housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Arrange for proper maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Report daily KPI indicators, including production, scrap, safety, and quality.
• Investigate material variances, report results of investigation, and recommend improvements.
