About The Position
Lockheed Martin's Archbald facility is a hub for design, manufacturing, and engineering, catering to both domestic and international clients. The facility is known for producing electronic assemblies, machined and welded assemblies/parts, and safety-critical systems that serve various defense and commercial applications. The site has garnered recognition for its contributions to missile systems, nuclear instrumentation, and control products, making it a pivotal player in the industry. In this role, you will serve as the Supervisor for the Electro/Mechanical Assembly area, with the potential to oversee Surface Mount Circuit Card assembly, Electrical harness and cabinet assemblies, and high-volume electro-mechanical assemblies. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a team to achieve Quality, Schedule, and Cost targets across multiple programs. This position requires prior experience in a similar manufacturing environment, as well as strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to foster respectful and trusting working relationships. Motivational skills and the capability to energize teams will be considered advantageous. You should also have a background in a manufacturing organization, with a proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions. Some engineering work will be part of your responsibilities, including updating work instructions, assisting in the planning of new production areas, and enhancing existing work cells. This position typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience, and it offers a chance to be part of a mission that safeguards national security while working with cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.
