The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee the daily operations at Spartronics. Ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality, and adhering to schedules. They will manage and motivate production staff, coordinate workflows, and collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to ensure seamless operations. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities are key to success in this role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
3+ years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience.
Strong communication, time management, and team coordination skills.
Passion for the success, development, and engagement of team members.
Strong proficiency in performance management and conflict resolution to enhance team development and collaboration.
Comfort with ERP systems, production documentation, and basic reporting tools.
Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree in Business, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485 standards.
Formal training in supervision, lean, or quality systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise production teams to meet schedule, quality, and safety goals.
Oversee the assembly, test, repair, and inspection of electronic parts, components, and systems, and adjust resources to maintain flow and efficiency.
Ensure adherence to work instructions, ITAR requirements, and company policies.
Identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks in the production process to optimize efficiency.
Support data entry and documentation of production or quality metrics.
Participate in continuous improvement and cross-functional meetings to drive innovation and collaboration.
Coach and mentor Team Leads in both technical and leadership competencies, preparing them for greater responsibility.
Provide feedback on effective leadership, conflict management, and team morale support.

Set the standard for professional conduct, communication, and decision-making across the production floor.
Work Schedule: 4-day/10-hour work week, working a minimum of 10 hours a day, overseeing the team. Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (2nd Shift) Overtime (OT): The goal is to limit OT, but it is a reality in manufacturing. When shifts require overtime, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring that each department has adequate coverage. If Team Leads are unable to provide sufficient oversight, the Supervisor will be required to step in and directly oversee the overtime work.
