The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 3PM - 11:30PM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Responsible for department indicators and providing clear direction to department to meet department production objectives. 2. Understand upstream and downstream departments to ensure accurate communication and appropriate product flow. 3. Monitor employee performance, regularly provide employee feedback, empower, mentor and coach employees, write and deliver performance reviews, and assist employees in setting goals. 4. Responsible for driving employee engagement and positively and accurately communicating change. 5. Responsible for assessing employee training needs and providing/overseeing training. 6. Actively and effectively address personnel issues and settle differences equitably and productively. 7. Create, update and ensure control of department work instructions and reports. 8. Provide input into staffing and capital needs through the collection and reporting of data. 9. Promote safety standards to others and assist in implementing safety initiatives. 10. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. 11. Understand. Create. Simplify. 12. Other duties as assigned.
