Here, you will make an impact by leading an hourly manufacturing team, managing plant manufacturing processes, driving plant safety, championing Lean Manufacturing, and engaging with various teams to ensure orders are produced according to product standards and on time for customers.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED or higher and five (5) years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and two (2) years of experience working in a manufacturing and/or engineering environment in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Knowledge of ASP system
  • LSS Green Belt Training and Certification
  • PSM covered process engineering experience
  • Experience with 3M’s Manufacturing Model
  • Supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Leading an hourly manufacturing team of 40+ operators on a rotating or fixed 3 and 4 crew shift schedules while managing plant manufacturing processes / closely monitoring KPIs
  • Driving plant safety with EHS and operator team to identify and problem solve escalated opportunities with focus on PSM covered processes.
  • Championing Lean Manufacturing through continuous improvement project identification and execution
  • Engaging with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure orders are produced according to product standards and on time for customer
  • Willingness to be on-call
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties
  • Contribute to a strong Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and engaging in continuous improvement
