Job Description: JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible to supervise and drive continuous improvement for the manufacturing crew within the value stream and deliver business results. Assigned manufacturing crew is medium in size and/or complexity. This position also ensures the value stream is operated in accordance with Andersen Corporation’s values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or combination of equivalent education and leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead A3 Plan / A3 projects for manufacturing crew, utilizing current and future state value stream maps
  • Deliver business metric results (SQDCP), utilizing tiered management system
  • Provide direct leadership to value stream team leads, production employees and potentially other supervisors
  • Provide indirect leadership to other support functions and other supervisors (matrix organization)
  • Provide coaching, feedback and development to manufacturing crew, Team Leads, and Supervisors, promoting career growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data.
  • Promote going to gemba to solve problems, promoting hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Establish an environment conducive to high levels of inclusion, morale, associate satisfaction, and performance
  • Expected to make large decisions for multiple manufacturing crews (entire value stream) and potentially an entire shift of multiple value streams
