About The Position

This position is responsible for supervising and driving continuous improvement for manufacturing crews within the value stream and for delivering business results. Assigned manufacturing crew is medium in size and/or complexity. This position also ensures the value stream is operated in accordance with Andersen Corporation’s values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or combination of equivalent education and leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead A3 Plan / A3 projects for manufacturing crew, utilizing current and future state value stream maps
  • Deliver business metric results (SQDCP), utilizing tiered management system
  • Provide direct leadership to value stream team leads, production employees and potentially other supervisors
  • Provide indirect leadership to other support functions and other supervisors (matrix organization)
  • Provide coaching, feedback and development to manufacturing crew, Team Leads, and Supervisors, promoting career growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data.
  • Promote going to gemba to solve problems, promoting hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Establish an environment conducive to high levels of inclusion, morale, associate satisfaction, and performance
  • Expected to make large decisions for multiple manufacturing crews (entire value stream) and potentially an entire shift of multiple value streams
