About The Position

As a Manufacturing Supervisor you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by promoting a safe and sustainable working environment through modeling safe behaviors as well as recognizing and resolving safety related problems. You will establish priorities and allocate work assignments in order to meet specific daily production requirements using lean management processes to meet customer expectations. Additionally, you will monitor production rates, yields, and quality of products routinely, communicating results to employees and leveraging continuous improvement tools to improve scheduling, quality, and efficiency. You will lead, coach and develop employees through direct supervision, floor presence, monitoring and coaching of production employees, providing recognition, overseeing training completion, policy administration and participating in hiring processes. This role may include contingent workers and will represent the plant leadership team through supporting initiatives across the plant, including but not limited to supervision coverage for alternative shifts, being on-call and servicing as a primary plant management representative.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing and/or production experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree (completed and verified prior to start) in related field.
  • Previous experience in supervision of direct hourly reports.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
  • Demonstrated success working in a cross functional team environment.
  • Ability to engage your team to align to a strategic plan.
  • Ability to drive and influence positive change.
