About The Position

Recent High School Grads and College Students Welcome Since 1948 Follett Products, LLC has led the industry in designing and manufacturing high-quality, innovative ice storage bins, ice storage and transport systems, ice machines, ice and water dispensers, ice and beverage dispensers, and medical-grade refrigerators and freezers for the foodservice and healthcare industries. Follett is now accepting applications for Temporary Summer Help (1st and 2nd Shift) in our Easton facility. No prior manufacturing experience is required. Pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Available to work full-time hours on 1st shift (6:00am - 2:00pm) or 2nd Shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm or 4:00pm-12:00am depending on the week).
  • Ability to use hand tools.
  • Ability to follow safety rules and written/verbal instructions.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, responsible, and dependable.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted, with occasional lifting over 60 lbs. with assistance.
  • Frequent (70%) pushing/pulling, reaching, fine handling, twisting at wrist; frequently carrying, standing, walking, stooping, twisting at waist; occasional sitting and using foot controls.

Responsibilities

  • Performs physical activities in a labor-intensive light manufacturing environment, which includes extended periods of standing, lifting, twisting, walking, bending, and handling/moving materials.
  • Operation of sheet metal fabrication machines, such as press brake, punch presses, deburring machine, and lasers.
  • Wears common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, and gloves.
  • Assembles subassemblies or complete units, positions, aligns, and fastens units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames using hand and power tools.
  • Positions, aligns, and adjusts parts for proper fit/function to operational specifications.
  • Prepares/connects cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications.
  • Makes final product adjustments and prepares products for shipping.
  • Locates, stacks/stores parts in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse.
  • Lays out parts to prepare for assembly.
  • Removes completed work pieces or parts from machinery using hand tools.
  • Uses hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials.
  • Abides by work rules and safety requirements.
