About The Position

The Part-Time Student Recruitment Specialist is responsible for promoting programs, building relationships with community partners, and recruiting prospective students through outreach activities, presentations, and events. This role requires an energetic and proactive individual who is comfortable engaging with multicultural audiences and working independently to expand awareness of educational opportunities.

  • Experience using CRM or recruitment tracking systems (e.g., Salesforce, Slate CRM, or similar).
  • Proficiency with data tracking and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • Experience using virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with shared document and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office).
  • Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to high schools, community organizations, employers, and partner institutions to promote program opportunities.
  • Deliver engaging presentations to groups ranging from 20 to 200 students, community members, and industry partners.
  • Represent the college and our division at recruitment events, career fairs, and community functions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with counselors, educators, employers, and community leaders to support recruitment efforts.
  • Build and maintain an active recruitment pipeline through follow-up communication and relationship management.
