Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Structural Tower Technician- 1st Shift to support assembly, maintenance, and operational activities in a high-performance manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and hands-on experience working with large assemblies. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings
- Experience with mechanical assemblies and fastening systems
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Experience with crane operations and rigging
- Experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment
- Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with torque tools and industrial fastening systems
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, machinery, and mechanical systems
- Assemble and disassemble large-scale mechanical components per engineering specifications
- Install, configure, and test equipment and systems
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections
- Read and interpret work instructions, technical manuals, and engineering drawings
- Document work performed, including troubleshooting steps and outcomes
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and report hazards
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed
