The Manufacturing Specialist I - Production is an entry-level role responsible for performing basic production tasks such as masking, final assembly, box build, hand coating/touch up, and hand potting. This position works under close supervision to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485 standards.
Exposure to electronics assembly processes.

Responsibilities

Perform basic mechanical or electronic assembly tasks following detailed instructions.
Support masking, hand coating, and touch-up activities under supervision.
Assist in box build and final assembly operations using standard tools.
Prepare materials and work areas to support production flow.
Inspect own work for obvious defects and report issues to supervisors.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.
