About The Position

The Manufacturing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the production processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining accurate production logs. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with vape, edible, and/or topical manufacturing processes.

• Strong mathematical skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide various units of measure.
• Proficient in computer programs including spreadsheet applications, word processing, database management, and e-mail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, constantly changing, team environment.
• Effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
• Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting and/or walking for extended periods.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply information obtained from manuals, data sheets, or other documents
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be and remain compliant with all company regulations.
• Must have Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry background/degree.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that may have a fairly complicated or technical orientation.
• Be able to troubleshoot various problems that may arise during extraction.
• Have some familiarity with butane, CO2, ethanol or nitrogen extractions.
• Maintain personal training documentation.
• Maintain accurate logs and records or plant, extract and product production and transport.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Ilera Holistic Healthcare SOPs and work instructions.
• Ensure proper communication of tasks through shift changes.
• Adhere to safe chemical handling and disposal procedures as defined by SOPs and material safety data sheets (MSDS).
• Ensure the safety of themselves and others by maintaining a safe and orderly environment by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning as needed.
• Report any unsafe or hazardous work conditions to the Processing Manager or lead.
• Work all shifts as needed to complete critical tasks.
• Uphold Ilera Holistic Healthcare quality and teamwork objectives in all job aspects.
• Perform other duties as required.
