Job Summary The Manufacturing Specialist II - Production is responsible for performing intermediate-level production tasks including complex assembly, masking, box build, hand coating/touch up, and hand potting. This role works with minimal supervision and may assist in training junior specialists.

Requirements

  • We are an ITAR Controlled Facility; all applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Education- High school diploma or GED Required.
  • 2+ years of experience in production or assembly roles.
  • Ability to interpret basic technical drawings and instructions.
  • Proficiency in using production documentation systems.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Independently assemble components or systems using detailed work instructions.
  • Perform in-process inspections and document results as required.
  • Support masking, box build, and final assembly operations with accuracy.
  • Train or assist Level I specialists on standard production practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain production flow and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR).
  • Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.
