Manufacturing Services Coordinator
About The Position
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Responsible for coordinating and developing production schedules on a daily or weekly basis to meet goals. Takes stock of inventory levels and facilitate providing the necessary information regarding materials and components. Coordinate customer shipments with shipping department. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Supply chain management Oversee Production Planning Forecasting Manage finished goods and WIP inventories to target levels Review weekly production schedules to maximize efficiency Servicing internal/external customers Communicate daily with supervisors/managers regarding completions, capacity, and product availability Monitor work order start dates and raise awareness of any order not started on time Provide support as needed for a 24/7 365 manufacturing plant.
Requirements
- 5+ years exp. managing scheduling functions
- An absolute commitment to safety.
- Problem solving and general troubleshooting skills.
- Solid computer skills with Microsoft office.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Excellent organizational skills.
