Lockheed Martin Space Production Operations is seeking a Manufacturing Senior Manager to join our team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program's Florida Production Facility Mechanical Manufacturing Center in Titusville, FL! The Florida Production Facility is currently being built and will be online in 2027 to begin manufacturing and assembly of osite and metallic structures. This leader will be critical in developing the new production floor layout and flow. In addition, this leader will be responsible for leading and developing the team both from a functional support organization as well as a staffing strategy and partnering with T&OC for developing a long-term training/upskilling path for both technicians and technical staffing (i.e. quality, manufacturing engineers, test engineers, etc.). This position reports functionally to the Mechanical Manufacturing Director in the Production Operations organization and will report programmatically to the FBM PSOC Program Management Director.

  • Working with the FBM PSOC and LM Space Production teams in establishing the production, team, processes and procedures for the future Florida Production Facility
  • Managing the Florida Production Facility for metallic fabrication, osites assembly, paints and thermal protection systems (TPS), hardware proof testing, and hardware inspection.
  • Coordinating with the Denver Composite, Additive, Paint and Processing, and Machine Shop areas to ensure timely delivery of osite piece parts.
  • Supporting the manufacturing area for Program cost, schedule and quality of the products being delivered.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations across the production areas; this will include leading direct reports, Technicians, Leaders, Shop Floor controllers, and indirect support groups, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, MRP, Operation Leads, MRP, Transportation, Receiving/Stock Room through the overall production process.
  • Interfacing with Operation/Production Operations leadership, Program/Customer leadership, support group leadership and all of his manufacturing team.
  • Production planning, staffing, quality, cost, schedule and delivery of the FPF products and providing status to the required stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the full life cycle of hardware from capture to final delivery
  • Previous formal leadership experience, including experience managing leaders
  • Experience collaborating with key stakeholders (for example: program leaders, cross-functional partners, customers, or executive leadership, etc.)
  • Experience with Manufacturing process flows
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Experience with manufacturing and assembly of hardware on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (SWFLANT, SWFPAC, etc)
  • Experience working with a represented work force
  • Experience with the Navy including Navy Strategic Systems Programs Customer
  • Basic knowledge of SAP, Capacity Planning and Dispatch reporting that drive business rhythm.
  • Basic knowledge of 1LMX tools i.e. Plantera and Apriso MES or commitment to learn.
  • Experience with bid and proposals.
  • CAM experience
