Join our innovative team at Agilent Technologies as a Manufacturing Scientist specializing in genomic reagents. You'll contribute to ground breaking products that advance Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), Microarray testing, and PCR-based technologies. Responsibilities

  • Using nanodrop spectrophotometry, perform molecular and microbiology techniques such as PCR, DNA/RNA/Protein extractions, and DNA quantification.
  • Responsible for Plasmid preps and DNA/RNA isolations.
  • Manufactured and tested sophisticated master mixes and bulks for RT-PCR and QPCR kits.
  • Analyze quantitative data and accurately report results.
  • Support process validations for new products and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in introducing new products and exploring technologies to improve product quality.
  • Identify and propose process efficiency improvements and complete vital validations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on production and testing efforts.
  • Maintain inventory of raw materials for manufacturing and quality control.
  • Enforce 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles to maintain an organized work environment.
  • Write, review, and maintain ISO-compliant Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Biological Science or a related field with chemistry, molecular biology, or biochemistry expertise.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, particularly PCR and QPCR.
  • Strong communication, organization, and digital literacy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
