Responsibilities
- Using nanodrop spectrophotometry, perform molecular and microbiology techniques such as PCR, DNA/RNA/Protein extractions, and DNA quantification.
- Responsible for Plasmid preps and DNA/RNA isolations.
- Manufactured and tested sophisticated master mixes and bulks for RT-PCR and QPCR kits.
- Analyze quantitative data and accurately report results.
- Support process validations for new products and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in introducing new products and exploring technologies to improve product quality.
- Identify and propose process efficiency improvements and complete vital validations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on production and testing efforts.
- Maintain inventory of raw materials for manufacturing and quality control.
- Enforce 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles to maintain an organized work environment.
- Write, review, and maintain ISO-compliant Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Biological Science or a related field with chemistry, molecular biology, or biochemistry expertise.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, particularly PCR and QPCR.
- Strong communication, organization, and digital literacy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
