Manufacturing Science and Technology (MS&T) Intern
About The Position

Xeris is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois and has a strong foundation built on proprietary formulation technologies and deep expertise in clinical development and commercialization. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Manufacturing Science and Technology team under Technical Operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in process development/technology transfer, exposure to real-world projects, and an opportunity to develop professional skills in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, pursuing a degree in the engineering or scientific field, and has completed a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate studies
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Returning to an academic program at a credentialed institution for at least one semester post-internship
- Strong interest in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing

Responsibilities
- Assist the engineer/scientist in executing trials for Xeris’ technology platform products, focusing on mixing, product transfer, and filling unit operations.
- Assessing equipment and methods to condition the product for filling optimization.
- Drafting test study protocols and reports, data management, and analysis.
- Support MS&T team in day-to-day operations as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
- At the conclusion of the internship, prepare a comprehensive review of the internship experience and present to the organization.
