About The Position

The Manufacturing Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing production schedules to ensure the efficient flow of products through the manufacturing cycle. This role requires close collaboration with production, sales, inventory, and supply chain teams to balance production goals, customer demand, and material availability. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver with strong organizational and communication skills. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production planning, or scheduling role is a strong plus.
  • Experience using an ERP or MRP system is preferred.
  • Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and creating metrics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges and develop quick, effective solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and inventory levels to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery.
  • Use the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to manage work orders, track material flow, and monitor production status.
  • Maintain and analyze production data using Microsoft Excel to identify potential issues, forecast needs, and create reports for management.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to identify and resolve issues such as material shortages, capacity constraints, or equipment downtime that could disrupt the production schedule.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for schedule-related information, providing timely updates to customer service, purchasing, and production staff.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to streamline the scheduling process and improve overall production efficiency.
