The Senior Planner supports manufacturing operations by creating and managing the short term (1-4 week) bulk batching schedule and managing gang weigh releases for preweigh operations.

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, or technically focused degree program.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • You have experience in SAP
  • You have experience with any MES system
  • You are detail-oriented and driven

Responsibilities

  • You will receive orders from Bulk Planning & NPD and populate orders into the schedule based on requirement dates, tank availability, overall capacity, and other manufacturing specific rules.
  • You will work with Senior Manufacturing Manager (operations) & Manufacturing Manager (technical) to ensure all preparation is complete for executing the current and following week's schedule and make any changes to the short-term schedule if needed.
  • You will manage the repack process to ensure all sample requirements from the business are aggregated and provided to floor operations team on a weekly basis.
  • You will record monthly figures that pertain to schedule attainment and adherence
  • You will check orders for RM availability, recipe, routing, and other prerequisites for the current week plus 1.
  • You will work with key stakeholders such as NPD/NPC, Planning, Manufacturing Technical, Manufacturing floor operations, Process Development Group, Shade Lab, and Quality
