About The Position

You will be the Manufacturing Robotics Engineer for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Ocala, FL. As a Manufacturing Robotics Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: designing manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts utilizing automation and other techniques to maximize quality and efficiency. You will support and participate in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of manufacturing tools and electromechanical systems that includes automated components such as robots, conveyors, vision systems and programmable controllers. You will be responsible for the life cycle of automated processes and equipment from design to implementation to maintenance and upgrades. Staying informed of new developments in automation to facilitate continuous improvement of manufacturing processes is also a key part of your role. You will provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques, ensuring processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience programming collaborative robots/experience with robotics.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to facility requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Programming PLC's & HMI's.
  • Assemble and wire industrial control panels according to engineering schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience programming machine vision systems.
  • Understanding of ethernet with TCP IP.
  • Modbus communication.
  • Proficient in simulation software - RoboGuide, RoboDK, Visual Components.
