About The Position

The Manufacturing Quality Technician (MQT) will be completing inline quality audits, quality inspections, dispositioning materials, and driving corrective actions. This position will assist the Manufacturing Quality Specialist (MQS) with addressing quality issues, drafting/updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and assisting in the development of a supplier quality system. The MQT will be responsible for testing and monitoring physical samples/materials in accordance with quality standards to ensure compliance; this includes incoming materials, work in process (WIP), and finished goods. The position will be documenting, communicating, and tracking quality statuses, maintaining documentation systems, creating and maintaining SOPs, and ensuring quality control is maintained within all areas of Operations. The MQT must possess knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, manufacturing quality, possess excellent computer skills, and the ability to analyze and present technical information using strong communication skills. The MQT must be self-motivated and be able to engage across multiple projects.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Understanding of supplier and manufacturing/process quality
  • Eye for detail
  • Ability to lead self-guided projects
  • Ability to identify issues and develop processes and controls to correct them
  • Data logging processing, and presentations of inspection results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience in usage of ERP systems
  • Use hand tools such as micrometers and calipers
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
