About The Position

MISSION: The mission of the Manufacturing Quality Manager is to implement and sustain IEC Holden's robust quality management system that ensures manufactured products consistently meet engineering specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, while driving continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency across manufacturing processes. Outcomes: Within the first 12 months, maintain and improve the Quality Management System such that 100% of internal quality audits are completed as scheduled, fully documented, and corrective actions are implemented and verified within established timelines. Within the first 12 months, lead structured failure process analysis on all significant internal and customer-reported nonconformances, with documented root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions implemented and tracked to closure. Within the first year, ensure manufacturing and product quality risks are identified, documented, reviewed, and mitigated using formal risk management methodologies, with actions monitored through management review processes. Within the first 12 months, implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing methodologies (including Kaizen and 5S) that result in measurable improvements in manufacturing efficiency, quality performance, or process capability. Within the first 6 to 12 months, establish and maintain process data reporting and quality metrics using statistical tools and quality control methods to monitor trends, support decision-making, and drive process improvement. On an ongoing basis, ensure 100% of quality inspections and reviews are performed in accordance with engineering drawings, material specifications, and inspection requirements, with documented evidence of product conformance. Within the first 6 months, ensure effective, compliant use of metrology and measurement tools (including CMM, Faro arm, calipers, micrometers, and height gauges) for inspection and validation activities, with appropriate documentation and traceability. Within the first 12 months, develop and deliver structured coaching and training for relevant personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques, failure analysis, and continuous improvement practices, with training records maintained.
