Requirements
- Minimum of associate’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Understand the Company’s EHS Policy and how it relates to this job.
- Be aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as the Company’s Plant Rules and Regulations that pertain to this job.
- Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EHS procedures.
- Know that the company EHS procedures are located on the ISO drive.
- Immediately notify the Supervisor if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding EHS procedures.
- Attend required EHS training.
Nice To Haves
- 5 years’ experience in various aspects of production, production planning and estimating preferred.
- Machining knowledge is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review Standard Products, Spare Parts, and Custom Engineered Systems (as appropriate) within EPICOR—transitioning to SAP—for accuracy and proper setup prior to release.
- Assist with Epicor-to-SAP transition activities.
- Conduct make/buy analyses for manufactured components.
- Working with Supply Chain, optimize MRP to maintain adequate and timely stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with Production Planning, Sales, Material Control, Production, Project Management, and Engineering to define component manufacturing delivery requirements.
- Support sourcing and capacity planning across Standard Products and Spare Parts.
- Troubleshoot issues across manufacturing, production, and shipping processes and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement of Epicor job processing, accuracy, compliance, reporting tools, and troubleshoot during SAP transition.
- Recommend improvement actions to management.
- Develop and implement process improvements to support 95% on‑time delivery.
- Track and report operational metrics.
- Other duties as assigned.
