Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2+ years in a QA technician or similar quality role.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or comparable systems.
  • Independent, organized, and thorough from start to finish.
  • Strong communicator who spots risks and prevents repeat issues.
  • Digitally fluent—ERP (QAD a plus), Microsoft Office, and customer portals.
  • Comfort in a manufacturing/production setting.
  • Enjoys a primarily administrative/technical QA scope with significant computer use.
  • This position requires the use of, or access to, information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Accordingly, only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply. Responsibilities

  • Execute inspections/tests for WIP, finished goods, raw materials, and tooling per established procedures.
  • Lead First Article Inspection efforts: plan, interpret specs and drawings, create ballooned prints, and compile compliance matrices.
  • Turn complex technical documents into clear inspection criteria.
  • Maintain and update controlled documents (process sheets, work orders, inspection reports) as specs evolve.
  • Validate work package completeness (work orders, batch tests, incoming/tooling inspection, etc.).
  • Write clear work instructions, forms, test reports, and supporting quality documentation.
  • Drive corrective action using structured root cause methods for nonconformances.
  • Operate a range of inspection tools and vision systems with confidence.
  • Assist with internal, customer, and registrar audits.
  • Model safe work practices (including appropriate PPE) and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
  • Prioritize effectively to maximize quality and efficiency.
  • Support QC priorities while owning your core QA responsibilities.
