About The Position

The Manufacturing Quality Assurance Associate plays a critical role in ensuring that the quality of our finished and packaged products are within specific AQL’s and meet regulatory requirements. This hands-on position requires collaboration across departments, technical expertise in inspection process, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Science/Engineering Field) with 0-1 years of experience in in QA
  • Associate’s degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience in QA
  • Highschool/GED with 2-4 years of relevant work experience in QA
  • Knowledge of Quality Standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Previous experience conducting investigations, performing non-conformities’ and CAPAs.
  • Experience with process documentation and record keeping is a must.
  • Experience writing and revising SOPs is a must.
  • Experience in or knowledge of working with manufacturing processes, production, and administration.
  • Medium to advanced skills using MS office Suite
  • Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
  • Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
  • Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
  • Peripheral Vision (ability to observe up and down, left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)
  • Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships)
  • Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring the object to sharp focus)

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the investigation, reporting, and resolution of major deviations
  • Assist in implementation of CAPAs
  • Write/Revision of documents as assigned
  • Review and approval of material on finished products
  • Review and approval of incoming materials
  • Review and approval of certificates of analysis
  • Assist in creating/following AQLs
  • Provide real-time training on quality limits with manufacturing personnel
  • All other duties assigned by the leadership team
