A day in your new role Picture this: your 12-hour shift kicks off at either 7:00am or 7:00pm. You step onto the production floor, check your assigned area, and begin monitoring equipment for anything out of the ordinary. If something looks off, you alert your supervisor right away so the line keeps running smoothly. As parts move down the line, you perform careful visual checks to spot defects. You load product where it’s needed, remove excess flash from molded components, and verify that everything meets quality expectations. Throughout your shift, you follow OSHA safety practices and jump into training sessions when scheduled so you can stay current on the latest techniques and tools.
