Position Summary: We are seeking a Production Supervisor in our Glass Shop to lead and coordinate a team in our manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for planning and assigning work, maintaining safe and efficient operations, and driving continuous improvement efforts to meet production goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, resolve issues, and maintain a high standard of quality and productivity.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, assembly line production environment
  • Demonstrated ability to train and develop employees effectively
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and strong sense of urgency
  • Leads by example with professionalism and integrity

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and direct team activities to meet daily and weekly production schedules
  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and promoting good housekeeping
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
  • Train, develop, and motivate team members to maximize performance and engagement
  • Enforce company policies and address performance concerns, including administering disciplinary actions as needed
  • Monitor attendance and manage time-off requests to ensure adequate coverage
  • Facilitate effective material flow to meet production demands
  • Lead daily team meetings to communicate expectations, schedules, and goals
  • Provide regular feedback on team performance and collaborate on solutions to meet or exceed targets
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to production and personnel
  • Proactively address production issues and bottlenecks to maintain workflow
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
