Manufacturing Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and hands-on 2nd shift Production Supervisor to lead a team in our fast-paced manufacturing environment. The 2nd shift Production Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and oversight to production team members to meet daily output, quality, and safety goals. This role plays a critical part in supporting continuous improvement efforts and maintaining a positive, results-driven workplace culture.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within an assembly line or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate hourly production employees.
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proactive leadership style with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred , but not required
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct team activities to meet production schedules and performance targets.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and promoting good housekeeping.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
- Train, coach, and develop team members to improve skillsets and job performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Address employee performance issues and administer corrective actions when necessary.
- Resolve production bottlenecks and coordinate timely material flow to avoid delays.
- Manage team schedules, monitor attendance, and approve time off requests.
- Lead daily team meetings to communicate expectations, goals, and operational updates.
- Provide regular feedback to employees and maintain production documentation and reports.
- Proactively address challenges and support cross-functional collaboration to meet targets.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
