The RF Head Value Stream has an opportunity for a 3rd shift Production Supervisor to join the Microelectronics Operations Team. This position has responsibility for the manufacturing operations team in a fast paced, multi-shift, high volume/low mix environment that produces products using cutting edge technologies. This position will also help support the high-mix SAWs production area within the Microelectronics factory. The Production Supervisor ensures that all products meet contractual quality, cost, and schedule requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production while maintaining a safe work environment. The position is responsible for the effective execution of the manufacturing operations strategy, using the available control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, assess production capacity, resolve quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of experience.
  • Supervisory, leadership, and/ or manufacturing experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with microelectronics fabrication with the ability to operate within a clean room environment.
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Previous leadership and management experience in manufacturing or similar environments with managing high volume/low mix manufacturing lines.
  • Experience utilizing business systems and tools that aid in managing labor, processes, and budgets.
