Join Hitachi Energy as a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Production Supervisor at our Crystal Springs, MS location! The position will be based at our Crystal Springs, MS production plant and will support the team in line with shift schedule for the weekdays Monday - Friday inclusive. Current shift hours are 3 pm to 11:30 pm and 11:00 pm - 7:30 am. These hours may change and may work overtime either outside these hours or on weekend days. The successful candidate should be able to assist his team anytime to reach the production targets.

Requirements

• Associate degree (may consider non-degree candidate with significant years of experience).
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisor role.
• Experience in lean manufacturing.
• Experience in using SAP is a plus.
• Experience with metal works, welding, and painting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Address health and safety risk analysis and define required controls for safe work.
• Identify gaps in safety, quality, and production processes and develop actions to close gaps.
• Communicate daily production targets and exceptions with the production employees.
• Assign team members and adjust workflow based on the size of the work team and customer priorities.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for continuous improvement activities.
• Engage team members and develop best practices within areas of responsibility.
• Support the team members' training.
