About The Position
This position is responsible for Logistics Process standardization/documentation across all production facilities in North America. The role involves knowledge transfer between DTNA Mexico and US plants, coordinating Logistics Control System deployment activities, and ensuring process planning aligns with LCS requirements. The position also requires fostering working relationships between Mexico and US facilities, implementing and digitalizing critical logistics processes across the DTNA production network, and leading the implementation of the Logistics Control System (LCS). The employee will act as a liaison with the plant materials department, Corp IT, and LCS Software vendor, coordinating system and equipment design specs as well as software development for logistics processes. Additional responsibilities include project planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and management of LCS vendor activities, supporting the implementation of Lean Material Handling Principles, and identifying and implementing benchmark technologies for Material Handling equipment and systems software applications. The position requires up to 25% domestic/international travel per year.
