About The Position

Pioneer Human Services is looking for a Manufacturing Production Planner II to support the Production Control department. This role involves creating production planning and work center routings to ensure timely delivery of internal and external products within customer quality specifications. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 5 + years of experience in aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in manufacturing process, procedures, blue print interpretation, tolerances and equipment uses.
  • Understanding of customer contracts/Purchase Orders.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, and ITAR.
  • Excellent customer service required.
  • Produce shop router per customer specifications and machine requirements including outside process.
  • Microsoft Office and Excel spreadsheet knowledge required.
  • Must communicate well, stay organized while multi-tasking.
  • Ability to write accurate, comprehensive and concise documents.
  • Thorough knowledge of aerospace manufacturing drawings and specification, and engineering requirements.
  • Complete knowledge of how a part is produced using correct equipment and process order.
  • Solution orientated, able to define problems and work with team members to conclusion.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years engineering classes.
  • 3 + years’ experience in Estimating and/or Planning in manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

  • Develops manufacturing processes and instructions in MRP System for a variety of aerospace parts by applying knowledge of production design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials, ensuring that they are compliant with product requirements set forth by customer.
  • Interprets aerospace manufacturing drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements and flow down special noted requirements on each operation. If not clear contacts customer for clarification.
  • Provides manufacturing decision -making information by calculating labor production times and checking material, and OSP costs, using estimate sheets as a guide.
  • P.O. Review of existing parts; responsible for evaluating current router and make sure it meets all current processes and specifications. If changes are present create a Planning Change and route to all Departments involved.
  • Follow all procedures and process set forth by our Business Management System (BMS), AS9100, ISO9000, ISO14001 and pertaining Mill Specs.
  • Adhere to Work Instructions in BMS.
  • Load Production plans into MRP system.
  • Develop and provide job routings for a variety of products based upon required manufacturing processes, including all flow down specifications stated by Customer.
  • Audit Customer Purchase Order for; latest revision, price, quantity, lead time and/or special process requirements. Ensure that all information required to produce a product is available in house, can be purchased/made, or provided by customer. Audit all Quality Clause requirements and flow down to production.
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, programming and floor supervisors concerning matters relative to product configuration and quality.
  • Observe and promote quality control procedures within the department.
  • Comply with Quality Management System, (BMS 10000), by meeting the requirements in the Operating Procedures, Process Specifications.
  • Follow all Safety, (BMS-20000 Safety Program and Environmental, (ISO 140001) requirements set forth by our BMS.
  • Provide training, coaching and guidance to department employees with lesser levels of experience.
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
