About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Manufacturing Production Operator is responsible for assembling mechanical units or fabricated parts to create sub-assemblies or complete units. This role involves routine and repetitive assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:- Use various hand and power tools and operate equipment such as jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses.- Cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble components.- Obtain raw materials, load, and operate equipment to produce finished products.- Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Able to remain in a standing, stationary position for extended periods
  • Able to work flexible hours and overtime when required, including weekends
  • Available to attend off-shift training or work and rotations between departments when required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous factory experience preferred.
