Requirements

  • Ability to interpret production orders and related documentation.
  • Basic math skills, including decimals and simple formulas.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, pulling, and bending.
  • Ability to tolerate considerable exposure to chemicals and capable of following strict safety protocols.
  • Ability to understand SDS/MSDS requirements and GHS hazardous material identification.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience required, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, load, and monitor production machinery; perform job setups, equipment adjustments, and basic operational checks to support safe and efficient production.
  • Prepare, position, and supply materials or components for production runs.
  • Support batch manufacturing activities, including accurate weighing and completion of factory orders.
  • Package finished products, operate packaging equipment, and ensure proper labeling and handling.
  • Perform physical cycle counts of raw materials, components, WIP, and finished goods; investigate and document inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials or finished goods using appropriate material-handling equipment.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures, including hazardous material handling, SDS/MSDS and GHS requirements, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and safe equipment operation.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and visual management standards.
  • Complete production documentation, including work orders and inspection logs.
  • Follow established procedures for handling, rework, or disposal of on-hold materials.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to resolve production, quality, and inventory issues and meet product and quality goals.
  • Participate in safety programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and assist with training team members on efficient and safe operational practices.
