Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED and 1 year of Manufacturing or Operations experience or Associate's degree.
  • 1+ years of experience in a GMP/other regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of GMP principles.
  • Experience in a drug product manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to assemble, disassemble, operate and understand simple to moderately complex equipment per procedures.
  • Basic understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system.
  • Ability to work optimally in an individual and team setting.
  • Ability to use computer systems to document electronic batch records.
  • Coachable, ability to take coaching/critique and show learned/measurable improvement.
  • Capacity to follow written procedures, recognize and report malfunctions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to perform assignments with a high degree of focus/attention to detail.
  • Available to support Operation in non-standard shifts that include weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Operate automated and innovative manufacturing equipment for packaging operations.
  • Be trained and cross-trained to operate and troubleshoot issues across a variety of equipment.
  • Ensure product quality by monitoring the performance of the equipment.
  • Conduct machine troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
  • Report discrepancies to the Line Leader or Manufacturing Manager.
  • Ensure quality & compliance through a Right First-Time mentality.
  • Receive and prepare components for use in manufacturing.
  • Feed components into equipment and perform sanitation activities.
  • Document appropriate paperwork and understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)/performance metrics.
  • Participate in daily performance meetings.
  • Use pallet jacks and manually wrap pallets.
  • Use computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch records.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure components and products are available for continuous operation.
