About the position

A Manufacturing Process Maintenance Specialist II will provide customer-oriented service and support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Performs corrective and preventative maintenance on manufacturing Filling equipment, Isolators, Vial Washers, Autoclaves, Parts Washers, and Automatic Vial Inspection equipment. This position requires a solid understanding of manufacturing systems including mechanical, electrical and control principles. This position will work a 2,2,3 schedule working the 12-hour shift from 6am - 6pm.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective work order maintenance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems and work with outside vendors to resolve recurring issues.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures in performance of assigned duties.
  • Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logbooks.
  • Work independently, with only general supervision and instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new assignments.
  • Navigate in a CMMS system to find and close out work orders.
  • Schedule workload with planner.
  • Perform small projects as directed by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment OR Associate's Degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or related manufacturing environment OR Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • This is a 12-hour shift from 6am - 6pm, once training is completed and you must be available to work nights.
  • This work requires occasionally climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, moving/lifting test equipment up to 50 lbs. as well as working in clean spaces where gowning is required.
  • Ability to stand for up to 3 hours at a time is also required.
  • This role also requires overtime, off hours and rotating on-call to support customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge and usage of hand and power tools to perform assignments preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMMS system.
  • Knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out to energized systems.
