We are seeking skilled and dedicated Embroidery Machine Operators and Fulfillment Processors to join our L.L.Bean for Business team. Join our Manufacturing team in Brunswick, Maine and help create one of the most legendary products in outdoor history—the Maine Hunting Shoe, trusted by adventurers for over a century. While most positions will focus on stitching for the Maine Hunting Shoe, a small number of hires will join our Boat and Tote stitching line. Shift Availability 1st Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM 2nd Shift: Mon–Fri, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM 3rd Shift: Sun 9:00 PM–6:00 AM, Mon-Thu, 11:00 PM–6:00 AM (35-hour week)

Responsibilities

• Prep and stitch leather components for the Maine Hunting Shoe using post or flat sewing machines; a small portion of hires will work on the Boat and Tote stitching line working with canvas material.
• Inspect products for completeness, accuracy, and quality, cleaning excess cement, dirt, and clipping threads as needed.
• Ensure all line items (thread, components, hang tags, etc.) are correct.
• Pack products into proper containers, labeling cartons for warehousing.
• Fix issues when identified, provide feedback to peers, and alert QA if trends are noted.
• Verify FD labels, tags, and shipping cartons meet criteria for Freeport partners, Returns, and Outlet stores.
• Partner with QA liaison for reports and feedback and with Engineering for process improvements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
