About The Position

Hunter Agricultural Irrigation is seeking a Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Technician to performs installations, repair and maintenance of building and plant electro‐mechanical equipment including but not limited to water, compressed air, hydraulic, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Essential Functions: Helps engineer, design, and perform installation and repair plant process and utility services. Performs journeyman level skills in at least one of the following: compressed air, electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and plumbing systems utilized. Troubleshoots and repairs to component level all electro‐mechanical equipment. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and service on assigned equipment. Records work performed and other information for equipment history. Orders repair parts and materials as needed. Provides technical assistance and training to support technicians.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of trade school or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of progressive facility maintenance experience with knowledge of building, plumbing, NGC, local codes and plant systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and technical data sheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to interact with members across the organization.
  • Leadership skills to provide technical assistance and training to support team members.
  • Ability to perform journeyman level skills in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing or demonstrate strong general skills in all these areas.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and sufficient driving record to meet requirement to be insured by company.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
