About The Position
National Instruments Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Planner for its offices in Austin, TX. The Manufacturing Planner will play a crucial role in planning and managing the ERP/MRP system processes. This position involves analyzing data to make informed planning decisions that align with the company's strategic goals. The successful candidate will assist in conducting cost/benefit analyses and process modeling to optimize manufacturing operations. Effective communication is essential, as the Manufacturing Planner will be responsible for composing clear and concise cross-team and inter-departmental communications to facilitate collaboration and ensure alignment on key initiatives. In this role, the Manufacturing Planner will coordinate closely with the Sales and SOMS teams to identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities, ensuring that the delivery of large customer orders is executed successfully and on time. Maintaining strong relationships with peer departments such as Marketing, Finance, and Purchasing is vital to ensure accurate forecasts and readiness for opportunities. The Manufacturing Planner will be instrumental in driving efficiency and effectiveness in the planning process, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
